If you aren't familiar with grant proposal writing and locating funding sources, contact one or more of these public organizations for guidance:

You also might approach local businesses for contributions, either monetary or in-kind. Consider asking for sponsorship of a specific project, such as a display for the county fair, or materials to use in classroom activities.
Be sure to acknowledge all contributions. For example, include a note at the bottom of your display or on the letter sent home to parents about the groundwater education project.
